Leadership team

Clay Spicer is the President / Owner of LCR Contractors, LLC and sits as the Chairman of the Board for the company. Clay joined LCR Contractors in 2006 and during his more than 10 years with the company has served as a leader from almost every position within the company. Starting as an estimator / project manager role and eventually serving as the Vice President of the company during a growth phase that saw operations in the spray fireproofing, spray thermal insulation, and spray foam insulation increase year over year for the past 10 years. Through strategic planning and investing in the operations side of the business LCR Contractors is positioned for continued growth for years to come. Clay’s vision for LCR Contractors is based on people and having the right balance of “Humble, Hungry, and Smart” Leadership.

Clay was born and raised in Garland, Texas and graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 2001 and spent the next 5 years serving as an Infantry Officer in the United States Army. He completed his service in the Army highly decorated and served in Operation Iraqi Freedom II with Task Force Lancer, 2nd Battalion 5th Cavalry Regiment from March 2004 – March 2005. Clay and his wife of 16 years, DeLayne Spicer, reside in Heath, Tx and have 4 children (Ella, Henlee, Bradly, and Jack).
